Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SnowPipe (the "Service"), operated by SnowForge LLC ("we," "us," or "our") at pipe.snowforge.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SnowPipe is a data pipeline management platform that enables e-commerce businesses to connect their stores, transform product data, and sync it to advertising and sales channels such as Google Merchant Center, Facebook Commerce, and others. The Service includes web-based tools for configuring pipelines, scheduling syncs, monitoring jobs, and managing field mappings.

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Your Data

4.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the data you upload, connect, or process through SnowPipe ("Your Data"). We do not claim any ownership interest in Your Data.

4.2 License to Process

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, transform, and transmit Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes syncing data to the destinations you configure.

4.3 Data Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to process and transmit the data you connect to SnowPipe. You must comply with all applicable data protection laws, including any requirements from the platforms you connect (e.g., Shopify, Google Merchant Center).

4.4 Personal Data of Your Customers

If Your Data includes personal data about your end-customers (for example, the customer email on a Shopify order), you (the merchant) are the data controller and SnowForge LLC is the processor under GDPR Article 28 and equivalent laws. We process such personal data only on your documented instructions, only for the purposes of providing the Service, and we do not share it with third parties except for the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy. You can instruct us to delete your customers' personal data at any time by emailing support@snowforge.dev or by uninstalling the SnowPipe app from a connected store.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use the Service to transmit spam, misleading product data, or fraudulent listings
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse API access in a way that degrades the Service for others
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
  • Use the Service in a way that violates the terms of any connected third-party platform

6. Subscription and Billing

6.1 Plans

SnowPipe offers various subscription plans with different feature sets, pipeline limits, sync frequencies, and row quotas. Current plan details and pricing are available on our website. We reserve the right to modify pricing and plan features with 30 days' notice.

6.2 Free Trial

Paid plans may include a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription will begin unless you cancel before the trial expires. No credit card is required to start a trial.

6.3 Payment

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for recurring subscription fees.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

6.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@snowforge.dev within 14 days of a charge for consideration.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions resulting from:

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Third-party service outages (AWS, Shopify, Google, etc.)
  • Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
  • Your misuse of the Service or exceeding plan limits

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, documentation, and branding, is the property of SnowForge LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription period.

9. Third-Party Integrations

SnowPipe connects to third-party platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Merchant Center, Facebook Commerce, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for damages resulting from inaccurate product data, disapproved listings, or other outcomes on third-party platforms.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnowForge LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third party's rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We will retain Your Data for 30 days to allow you to export it
  • After 30 days, Your Data will be permanently deleted

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
